Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 2 years in painting within construction or related fields.
• Must possess understanding of paint types, finishes, application techniques, and surface preparation for wood, concrete, and metal.
• Familiarity with brushes, rollers, spray guns, and safety regulations when handling chemicals and at heights.
• Ability to work at heights using scaffolding or ladders is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.
• Apply paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Mix colors to achieve desired finish and maintain consistency.
• Protect adjacent surfaces and fixtures with masking tape, drop cloths, and coverings.
• Perform both interior and exterior painting work as per project specifications.
• Apply special coatings or finishes to enhance durability and aesthetics.
• Conduct touch‑ups, repairs, and maintenance on painted surfaces.
• Maintain and clean painting tools, ensuring they are operational.
