Job summary

Canadian University Dubai’s School of Management invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Entrepreneurship starting Spring Semester 2026-2027. The successful candidate will teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engage in high quality research, and support academic leadership within the Department.

We seek candidates with experience in curriculum development, programme coordination, or broader academic leadership.

Qualifications

• PhD in Entrepreneurship or related field from QS Top 500 institution
• Strong teaching record at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Scholarly publication in peer-reviewed journals (Scopus indexed)
• Experience in academic administration or programme development
• Evidence of integrating entrepreneurship practice and applied learning
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Teach 12 credit hours per regular semester across undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Entrepreneurship and related areas
• Supervise student projects, independent studies, and research, with mentorship
• Engage in ongoing research on entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture development (2+ peer-reviewed publications/year)
• Contribute to curriculum review and programme development
• Support accreditation, quality assurance, and strategic initiatives
• Pursue externally funded research and industry collaboration
• Participate in university service and community outreach

The School of Management at Canadian University Dubai invites applications for a full time faculty position in Entrepreneurship starting from the Spring Semester 2026-2027. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engage in high quality research, and support academic leadership within the Department. The role requires a strong commitment to advancing entrepreneurial education, applied innovation, and practice based learning within a diverse and growing academic environment. Candidates with experience in curriculum development, programme coordination, or broader academic leadership are encouraged to apply. Professional or consultancy experience in entrepreneurship, venture development, or innovation ecosystems will be considered an asset.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a closely related discipline from a QS Top 500 and Internationally accredited institution
• Minimum relevant academic experience with strong teaching performance at undergraduate and, ideally, postgraduate levels
• A record of research activity demonstrated through publications in reputable, peer reviewed Scopus indexed journals
• Experience in academic administration, programme development, committee participation, or similar leadership roles
• Evidence of integrating entrepreneurship practice, innovation methods, and applied learning in teaching and supervision
• Fluency in English

Desirable assets

• Professional practice or consultancy experience in entrepreneurship, start up development, or innovation management
• Familiarity with Canadian higher education systems or professional standards
• Prior teaching experience in the Middle East
• Candidates with Canadian academic links or experience will be given priority

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 12 credit hours per regular semester at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including courses within Entrepreneurship and related areas
• Supervise student projects, independent studies, and research, and provide academic mentoring
• Engage in ongoing research and scholarship aligned with entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture development, with an expectation of producing at least two publications per year in reputable peer reviewed outlets (preferably Q1 or Q2 Scopus indexed)
• Contribute to curriculum review, programme development, and the enhancement of entrepreneurship related courses
• Support departmental and school level initiatives, including accreditation, quality assurance, and strategic projects
• Pursue externally funded research, industry collaboration, or community based initiatives related to entrepreneurship and innovation
• Participate in university service, including committees, student engagement activities, professional development events, and community outreach
• Represent the School and University in professional, academic, and industry forums as required
