Job summary

Birg is seeking an Entrepreneur inResidence (EIR) to own a venture from early build to standalone business. You will lead a cross-functional team across product, growth, sales and engineering, testing with real customers and forming the company for long‑term leadership.

The role is fully remote, contractor-based, and paid in USD, with responsibilities spanning external partnerships, company formation, and transition to a long-term CEO.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in startup operations, venture building, general management, or a comparable operating role.
• Direct, hands-on experience taking at least one company from zero to launch, owning it.
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools and agentic workflows.
• Experience designing structured processes for de-risking new initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead product build with a small cross-functional team and set weekly milestones.
• Launch an MVP, measure real behavior, and decide to continue or stop based on data.
• Drive early business development and manage contractors and external partners.
• Set up the legal entity, payments, and core operating systems; recruit initial hires.
• Assist in recruiting a long-term CEO and hand over the business on schedule.
