Job summary

Global Software Solutions Group in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) is seeking Infrastructure Architects and cloud infrastructure professionals to design secure, resilient, scalable environments across cloud, on-prem and hybrid setups.

You will define architecture across compute, storage, networking, containerisation, IaC, HA/DR, and data/AI workloads, working with engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure architectures.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of IaC and automation.
• Experience with security and compliance requirements.
• Experience with AI/ML data infrastructure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Define architecture across compute, storage, networking, databases, and platform services.
• Design infrastructure for data-intensive and AI/ML workloads.
• Establish and maintain IaC standards, environment management, automation, and configuration consistency.
• Design highly available architectures with backup, DR, RTO and RPO.
• Ensure designs meet security and regulatory requirements.
• Perform capacity planning and cost optimization.
• Review architecture changes and provide guidance to teams.
• Support implementation with architecture guidance and patterns.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide adoption recommendations.
• Contribute to modernization, cloud migration, and performance initiatives.
