Job summary

Cohere is seeking Software Engineers with Applied AI experience to design, build, and deploy agentic workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work with customers on real-world problems, delivering production-grade agents that integrate with tools, APIs, and data sources while ensuring reliability, observability, and safety from day one.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade software in Python.
• Experience creating production-grade RAG/agentic applications that plan and execute tasks.
• Familiarity with frontier models, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to build robust evaluation frameworks for agent accuracy, safety, and latency.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-value business problems into well-framed agentic workflows with clear success criteria.
• Design, build, and deliver LLM-powered agents that reason, plan, and act across tools and data sources.
• Ship features for North, from concept to production across the full product lifecycle.
• Own use-case scope end-to-end and adapt across technical areas as needed.
• Travel up to 20–40% to work on-site with customers and partners.
