Job summary

Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic English teacher with QTS to join its British Curriculum program for KS3–KS5. The role requires a proven track record in excellence and a commitment to high standards within a premier international setting.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in English, a PGCE/B.Ed or equivalent, and at least two years' secondary English experience, with expertise in differentiated instruction and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years' experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
• Experience teaching British curriculum English at GCSE and A-Level.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for diverse learners.
• Strong communication skills for engaging discussion-based learning.
• Experience in assessment and monitoring student progress.
• Ability to foster intercultural understanding.
