Job summary

Penspen in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an Engineering Manager (PMC) to lead multidisciplinary engineering for Onshore PMC projects. Ensure safe, compliant deliverables across FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC phases.

The role requires 20+ years in Oil & Gas, with 10+ years in engineering management within a PMC environment, plus hands-on EPF and upstream experience. ADNOC or major ME operator experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities for Onshore PMC project.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client specifications and international standards.
• Provide leadership across FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases; deliver large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects.

Job Purpose:

The Engineering Manager will lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities for Onshore PMC project, ensuring engineering deliverables are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client specifications, international standards, and project objectives. The role requires extensive knowledge and practical experience in Early Production Facilities (EPF) and Upstream Oil & Gas projects, with proven leadership across Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent professional registration is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 20 years of engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 10 years in Engineering Management or Lead Engineering roles within a PMC environment.
• Mandatory practical working experience in Early Production Facilities (EPF) and Upstream Oil & Gas projects.
• Mandatory experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams on major Oil & Gas projects.
• Mandatory hands‑on experience across Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases of Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects.
• ADNOC or other major Middle East operator project experience is highly preferred.
