Job summary

Valon is seeking a senior leader to head infrastructure and platform tooling, owning technical strategy and execution for core platform initiatives. You will mentor engineers, guide architecture, and drive collaboration with engineering, product, and operations to unlock innovation.

As a hands-on leader, you will shape engineering processes, recruit and develop talent, and promote a high-agency, high-accountability culture in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ years in a tech lead or engineering management role.
• Experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud systems.
• Strong systems thinking and understanding of backend/infrastructure interactions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems.
• Proven track record of leading teams in high-growth environments.
• Strong product mindset and communication skills.
