Job summary

Careers at UAE is seeking an Engineering Manager to ensure the department runs efficiently while adhering to Hyatt International’s standards. This role involves assisting the Director of Engineering in the operation of the Engineering Department and maintaining optimal conditions for equipment and buildings.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with technical knowledge of HVAC systems. This position is critical for aligning operational success with company objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Building Management.
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance and special projects.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems will be advantageous.

Engineering Manager

Summary

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Engineering Manager is responsible to assist the Director of Engineering in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Qualifications

Ideally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management. Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable.

Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics will be an advantage.
