Job Description

• Preparing and implementing studies and research on developing inspection processes in technical inspection
• Providing technical support, reports, analyses, and recommendations to improve the technical inspection process
• Keeping pace with developments in the field of technical inspection by developing inspection processes and achieving health and safety standards
• Coordination with the Technical Inspection Section of the Vehicle Licensing Department regarding the standards and requirements of technical inspection
• Review the inspection standards and procedures, provide a gap analysis, and determine the necessary procedures periodically
• Reviewing policies, legislation, and agreements related to technical inspection and preparing the necessary references for inspectors
• Evaluating inspection procedures and identifying gaps and necessary corrective actions with service providers
• Reviewing administrative circulars related to technical inspection procedures and determining the necessary updates on an ongoing basis
• Responding to all cases submitted by inspectors and meeting with them in coordination with the Vehicle Technical Inspection section
• Reviewing the technical specifications of devices and equipment at service sites and ensuring compliance with inspection standards and procedures
• Preparing and implementing awareness plans for inspectors regarding technical inspection on a regular basis
• Managing technical projects related to the department, which contributes to developing the technical inspection process
• Evaluate Inspectors technically and identify gaps, necessary improvement points, and required development procedures
• Analyzing data received from various systems and using them to provide proposals for inspection operations
• Performs other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate
• Preparing technical reports to identify gaps and risks related to technical inspections and submitting proposed recommendations
