Job summary

KBR Technical Services is seeking an Engineer, Pipeline (Integrity) to join our PMC team on a flagship project in Abu Dhabi. You will plan and execute pipeline integrity programs, including Intelligent Pigging surveys, and advise on the integrity status of assets managed by the project.

The role requires a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, strong English, and at least ten years of experience in pipeline integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Minimum 10 years' experience as Pipeline Integrity Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support on development and implementation of Pipeline Integrity Strategy and related procedures.
• Produce and ensure execution of the Intelligent Pigging in-line inspection master plan.
• Coordinate with Inspection engineer to produce underwater inspection plans.
• Validate inspection findings and issue Integrity Status Summary Reports.
• Advise asset owners on lines integrity status and propose actions and next inspection dates.
• Provide technical advice to management and Business Units on pipeline integrity issues.
• Support the department leadership in business planning and performance reviews.
• Identify and develop long-term pipeline replacement plans.

Job Purpose

KBR is looking for talented individuals to join our PMC team to work on an exciting project as a Engineer, Pipeline (Integrity) for a PMC project to be based in Abu Dhabi in Client Proposed office Candidate will plan & implement all pipeline integrity activities including, but not limited to Integrity Pigging Surveys. Candidate will technically advise on the integrity status of pipelines as and when needed / asked. Candidate with contractors & site to follow up Intelligent Pigging Surveys outcomes, ensure all required data is acquired and properly saved for future use / reference and issue Integrity Status Summary Report. Candidate will frequently ensure that "ADNOC Offshore Pipeline Integrity Strategy" is current.

Accountabilities

• Advise and support on the development and implantation of PIMS related supporting systems, Pipeline Integrity Strategy, procedures and guidelines.
• Produce and ensure execution of the Intelligent Pigging (IP) in-line inspection master plan.
• In coordination with Inspection engineer, to produce underwater mater inspection plan.
• Validate the inspection findings, review, assess and evaluate the IP findings.
• Advise asset owners on lines integrity status. Issue related recommendations and future action plan/next inspection date.
• Provide technical advice and support to management and Business Units on pipeline integrity issues.
• Support Manager and Team Leader in concluding the department business plan.
• Provide support to management in the TCM's Facilities Integrity Workshop and performance reviews.
• Identify and develop pipeline long term replacement plan.

Qualification, Experience, Knowledge

• Minimum Qualification :- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university,
• Good knowledge of English,
• Min. of 10 years' experience as Pipeline Integrity Engineer

Professional Certifications

Preferably member of certified / professional inspection / pipelines bodies.
