Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in supervising building construction projects. The role covers evaluating mechanical systems, conducting site inspections, and preparing technical reports to ensure conformance with design specifications.

The candidate should have 8+ years in building construction and solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. UAE project exposure is highly valued, with on-site work requirements across major sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building construction site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in commercial and residential buildings (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Experience preparing technical reports and construction documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment.
• Experience with construction projects in the United Arab Emirates.

Job Description

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment
• Experience with construction projects in the United Arab Emirates
