Job summary

LevelUP HCS in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Engineer I to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electronic hardware and embedded firmware, contributing to system performance analysis and documentation. You will work on digital/analog circuits, PCB design, firmware integration, and use measurement instruments for hands-on testing, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement of electronic systems.

A Bachelor's in Engineering and 2 years of hardware/firmware experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, E&C or related).
• Minimum 2 years of experience designing electronic modules with hardware and firmware.
• Practical knowledge of analog/digital electronics, PCB design, system testing, and measurement equipment.
• Hands-on programming with Embedded C and Python, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job description

The Engineer I will support the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware and embedded firmware, while contributing to system performance analysis, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of electronic systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and test digital and analog electronic circuits, modules, and systems.
• Support embedded firmware development, PCB design, integration, and system testing.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, testing, and performance analysis using electronic measurement instruments.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation and collaborate with engineers and technicians on new designs and system improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronic, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic module design involving both hardware and firmware.
• Practical knowledge of analog/digital electronics, PCB design, system testing, and electronic measurement equipment.
• Hands‑on programming experience with Embedded C and Python, with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the complete electronics development lifecycle, from circuit/PCB design and firmware development through integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to electronic system architecture, performance analysis, and development of test/support hardware.
