Job description

We are seeking a passionate and analytical Energy and Sustainability Researcher to drive innovation and evidencebased strategies in energy efficiency renewable energy technologies and sustainable development practices. The ideal candidate will conduct qualitative and quantitative research evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to developing actionable solutions that support our organizations environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct indepth research on sustainable energy systems climate policy and environmental impacts of energy production and consumption.
• Evaluate renewable energy technologies (solar wind hydro bioenergy etc.) and their applicability in different geographical or economic contexts.
• Analyze energy usage data and model energy scenarios for decarbonization and efficiency improvements.
• Support the development of corporate sustainability strategies including carbon reduction circular economy and resource optimization.
• Prepare detailed research reports white papers and policy briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor global trends legislation and innovation in sustainability and energy markets.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering policy and corporate social responsibility units.
• Present findings and recommendations to executives partners or public audiences when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science Energy Systems Engineering Sustainability or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills including data collection statistical analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with energy modeling tools (e.g. HOMER RETScreen LEAP EnergyPlus) and sustainability frameworks (e.g. GHG Protocol SDGs SBTi).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data analysis software (e.g. R Python Excel MATLAB) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent research experience.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and sustainability certifications (e.g. LEED ISO 14001 GRI).
• Experience in fieldwork lifecycle assessments (LCA) or renewable energy project evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to publish in academic journals or present at conferences.
