We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Energy Advisor to provide expert guidance to clients on improving energy efficiency reducing utility costs and meeting sustainability goals. The Energy Advisor will conduct energy audits analyze consumption data and recommend costeffective energysaving measures. This role requires a strong understanding of building systems renewable energy technologies and current energy regulations.
Conduct site assessments and energy audits for residential commercial or industrial clients.
Analyze utility bills and energy usage patterns to identify inefficiencies.
Recommend and prioritize energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy options.
Provide technical support for energy conservation projects including lighting HVAC insulation and controls.
Prepare detailed reports with findings savings estimates and payback analysis.
Educate clients on available incentives rebates and financing programs.
Stay updated on federal state and local energy policies codes and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with contractors engineers and utility providers to implement energysaving solutions.
Track performance of implemented projects and ensure ongoing energy savings.
Bachelors degree in Energy Management Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
2 years of experience in energy consulting energy auditing or a similar role.
Certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager) LEED or BPI preferred.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and energy analysis software (e.g. RETScreen eQUEST EnergyPlus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain complex energy concepts in a simple customerfriendly way.
Project management and customer service experience a plus.
Field visits to client sites may be required.
Occasional evening or weekend work based on client needs.
Travel within region expected if applicable.
