Job summary

Paramount Computer Systems seeks a Security Engineer to oversee Endpoint Protection and EDR, leveraging TrendMicro, CrowdStrike, and other tools. The role includes incident response, malware analysis, and threat hunting for advanced security threats.

The engineer will manage platform administration, policy design, and post-incident analyses, collaborating with global teams and vendors to strengthen security posture and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT security operations, with at least 3 years focused specifically on EDR and endpoint security.
• Experience configuring and managing enterprise EDR/endpoint protection platforms.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Investigate high-severity alerts and lead containment actions for advanced security breaches.
• Manage, tune, and maintain enterprise EDR and endpoint protection agents.
• Design, test, and deploy strict security policies across global endpoints.
• Proactively search telemetry for hidden adversary behaviours and IoCs.
• Inspect suspicious files and artifacts to understand attacker methods and build defenses.
• Perform deep-dive forensic analysis on compromised hosts and write post-incident reports.
• Coordinate with vendor support to resolve complex platform issues.
