Job summary

ADIB Group is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage and monitor security devices, review security logs, and respond to incidents. The role requires adherence to security baselines, on-call support, and compliance with ADIB policies and global standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining device health, updating software, and ensuring protection of user devices against malware while supporting IT security operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services.
• Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Networking: Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and monitor security devices, tools and products implemented at ADIB.
• Regular monitoring of security logs and events for IT security devices to detect attacks.
• Incident response: respond to attack attempts and contain incidents.
• Follow security hardening baselines and guidelines and generate reports.
• On-call availability for critical alerts after hours, weekends and holidays with escalation to IT security operations.
• Ensure compliance with published policies and procedures (PMO, ITIL, ISO 9001 & 27001) and ADIB processes (HR, Legal & Sharia).
• Information security maintenance and reporting; ownership of documentation and processes.

• RegularmonitoringofSecurityLogsandEventsforITSecuritydevicestoreviewsecurityeventsand alerts and proactively detect actual or potential attacks to ADIBnetwork

• Perform security devicehealth checks as per approved checklist(s)

Security Events Monitoring Incident Response & Support

• Generating reports and alerts for related platforms for reviewconfigurationfinetuningandimprovementpurposes after appropriateapprovals


• Incident Response:Earliest-possible detection ofthe information securityincidents


• Incident Support:Provide Level 2 support for anysecurity incident reported by Command Center or escape as per escalation procedures /guidelines

Global Expansion

• To fulfill the IT Security requirements forInternational expansion as conducted by ADIBManagement

Information Security

• Maintain information security related to ADIBthroughout the period ofemployment


• Assoonaspossiblereportanypotentialoractualrisksor incidents affecting the security of information to the ITD ServiceDesk

Documentation / Process Ownership

• Theincumbentisresponsibletotakeownershipmaintain& update documented processes and / or documentation related to his jobfunction
