Job summary

Amana Healthcare is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse to support patient assessment, preparation, and procedures. The role includes assisting physicians during gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and other endoscopic procedures, with post-procedure care and patient education.

You will monitor patient safety and infection control in a fast-paced clinical setting. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, valid DOH/DHA/MOH nursing license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOH Nursing License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, educate, and prep patients before endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Administer medications and conscious sedation as ordered.
• Monitor patients during procedures and in recovery until discharge criteria are met.
• Deliver post-procedure instructions and patient education.
• Ensure infection prevention and maintain safe, clean environment.
