Job summary

Nursing Manthra is seeking a General Practitioner - Emergency Medicine in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role involves patient care in emergency settings within hospitals, primary care centres or EDs, under senior supervision.

Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant post-internship experience where applicable and possess licensing eligibility with the relevant authority to practice in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Medical qualification meeting applicable professional requirements.
• Experience in hospital, primary healthcare or emergency department.
• Minimum 2 years post-internship experience for non-UAE nationals.
• UAE nationals and UAE medical school graduates may qualify without additional post-internship experience.
• Appropriate medical licensing eligibility according to the relevant authority.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis and patient management skills.
• Ability to work under Consultant or Specialist supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Examine, assess, diagnose, and treat patients under senior physician supervision.
• Participate in daily ward rounds and patient reassessment.
• Review laboratory investigations and diagnostic results.
• Assist with emergency patient management and appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and patient documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in patient safety and quality improvement activities.
• Provide rotational on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
