Job summary

Geotab is seeking an Embedded Camera Developer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for AI-enabled camera devices. You will write high-quality C/C++ code in Embedded Linux environments and collaborate with hardware teams to deliver scalable camera solutions.

You will work on ISP pipelines, video encoding/decoding, and ensure data integrity and security while following Geotab’s standards. A self-starter with strong debugging skills will fit well in this fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• 5+ years in image processing pipelines and Linux-based development.
• Strong C/C++ proficiency for embedded systems and multi-threading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test embedded firmware for AI-enabled camera systems in C/C++.
• Optimize ISP pipelines and video encode/decode modules.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for IC/data sheet interpretation.
• Write unit, integration, and system tests (Pytest/Robot Framework).
• Document firmware architectures and debugging procedures.
