High Street Resources (HSR) in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Portfolio Manager focused on Emerging Markets Macro. You will oversee substantial capital allocations, develop and monitor a global macro strategy, and work closely with a global team to translate insights into alpha.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in portfolio management, a demonstrated EM Macro track record with Sharpe above 1.5, and deep country-level research.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in portfolio management, preferably within a hedge fund.
• Geopolitical and fundamental economic analyses to identify opportunities in emerging markets.
• Proven track record in Emerging Markets Macro with Sharpe ratio above 1.5.
• Deep understanding of regional economies and liquid assets for implementing investment theses.
• Strong decision-making under pressure and ability to collaborate in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Formulate portfolios to capitalize on macro themes and generate asymmetric returns with minimal correlation to traditional markets.
• Oversee substantial capital allocation via development, execution and monitoring of an Emerging Markets Macro strategy.
• Conduct geopolitical and fundamental economic analyses of emerging economies to identify opportunities.
• Enforce risk management practices by evaluating the merits of positions and investment theses.
• Collaborate within a global team, sharing insights and expertise to inform the outlook.
