### Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV systems, including security, communication, and automation systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with structured cabling, CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and other ELV systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
### Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms, intercoms, BMS, networking, etc.).
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure functionality.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, and contractors for system integration.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO, NEC, TIA/EIA).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
• Document installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
### Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in ELV systems installation and maintenance.
• Technical Skills:
- Proficient in handling CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and structured cabling.
- Knowledge of IP networks, fiber optics, and wireless systems.
- Familiarity with testing tools (multimeters, OTDR, cable testers).
• Certifications (Preferred):
- BICSI, OSHA, or manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Hikvision, Siemens).
• Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Valid driver’s license (if fieldwork is required).
### Working Conditions:
• On-site work (construction sites, commercial/residential buildings).
