Job summary

Afra Technical Solutions L.L.C is seeking a motivated ELV Technician to join our systems integration team in Dubai. The role covers installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of ELV and ICT systems including CCTV, access control, intercoms and fiber optics.

The candidate will assist with cable pulling, fiber termination, system configuration and fault diagnosis while following TDRA safety standards. A hands-on, team-focused professional is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ELV and ICT system installations and maintenance.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercoms and SMATV.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure ELV and ICT systems on site.
• Pull cables, terminate and test connections.
• Terminate and splice fiber optics; perform testing.
• Configure systems and support commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support power checks and basic electrical tests.
• Adhere to TDRA regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with technical team to complete projects efficiently.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated ELV Technician to join our systems integration team in Dubai.

The role involves the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance of various ELV and ICT systems, including:

• CCTV systems
• Access control systems
• Intercom systems
• Gate barriers
• SMATV systems
• Structured cabling
• Fiber optic cabling and splicing
• ICT infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with:

• ELV and ICT system installations
• Cable pulling, termination, and testing
• Fiber optic termination and splicing
• System configuration and commissioning
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
• Preventive maintenance
• Power checking and basic electrical testing
• Working in accordance with TDRA regulations and applicable safety standards
• Working closely with the technical team to complete projects efficiently

Candidate Profile
