Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai seeks an experienced ELV/ICT Design Engineer to design, document and coordinate ELV systems for large-scale projects. You will produce detailed drawings, BOQs and specifications, ensure compliance with international and local standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated ICT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom or related field.
• Certifications in ELV/ICT systems (CCNA, BICSI, RCDD) preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in ELV/ICT design and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems: SCADA, Fire & Gas, CCTV, Access Control, BMS.
• Expertise in ICT: LAN/WAN, fiber optics, structured cabling.
• Familiarity with telecom standards (Etisalat/DU) and DEWA specs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Visio and network design tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity for industrial networks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics and BOQs for ELV systems.
• Develop ICT network designs including LAN/WAN and structured cabling.
• Ensure compliance with standards (TIA/EIA, IEC, NFPA, DEWA).
• Create Single Line Diagrams, GA drawings and system architecture documents.
• Perform load calculations, redundancy analysis and capacity planning.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors for design approvals.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for space planning of ELV/ICT systems.
• Develop Underground Dry Utilities Networks.
