Job summary

Otis is seeking a skilled Service Technician in Sharjah to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators. You will diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and ensure safety and reliability of systems for our valued customers.

This role requires an ITI diploma or higher in Electrical or Mechanical, 5–8 years of industry experience, and strong knowledge of elevator components, safety regulations, and service protocols.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical / B. Tech.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems and components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues in elevators and escalators
• Performing repairs and maintenance on elevator and escalator systems
• Conducting PPM to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborating with other team members to provide excellent customer service.
