Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for Wireline services in the UAE. The role involves troubleshooting, assembling and testing electro-mechanical assemblies and supporting downhole equipment maintenance.

You will work within a collaborative team and ensure compliance with HS&E policies. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of electromechanical wireline experience, a mechanical/electro-mechanical diploma, and prior Baker Hughes exposure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in mechanical or electro-mechanical field.
• 5–7 years of electromechanical wireline experience.
• Experience with Baker Hughes equipment.
• Maintenance experience in electro-mechanical function.
• Ability to perform basic electrical checks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and visually inspect electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Provide coaching for other Technicians.
• Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, maintenance, and downhole on equipment.
• Follow internal HSE policies to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist in the set-up of experiments and recording of data with Engineering and Reliability groups.
