Job summary

Flyper in Dibba-El-Fujairah is looking for a highly skilled Electrician to join our team. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring and equipment in domestic and commercial buildings, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, troubleshoot effectively, and work independently or with a team. A Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a valid driving license are preferred; salary starts at 1,200 AED per month plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in domestic and commercial settings preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Valid driver’s license is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Installing wiring systems and equipment such as switches, outlets, breaker boxes, circuit breakers, junction boxes etc.
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs or modifications to electrical systems or components onsite.
• Identifying potential hazards posed by faulty electric wiring or equipment.
• Testing electrical systems with appropriate testing devices to ensure they are operational and safe to use.
• Responding quickly to emergency situations in order to minimize disruption or damage.
• Following established safety rules and regulations when handling hazardous materials such as high voltage electricity or chemicals.
• Providing advice on how best to utilize electrical resources in order to meet customer needs efficiently.
