Job summary

JobLeader in Ajman, UAE is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand electricity, wiring and electrical components, and can troubleshoot problems while communicating with customers professionally.

Responsibilities include installing wiring and fixtures to project specs, inspecting components, performing preventive maintenance, testing systems, and repairing faults with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience as an Electrician in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent working knowledge of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers and switches.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems such as cleaning contacts and testing voltage levels.
• Test malfunctioning machinery in order to identify root cause of issue.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets or other components using hand tools or soldering iron.
