JobCenter in Ajman is seeking an Electrician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and components to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrician preferred but not required (new candidates are welcome).
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of safety precautions when working with electricity.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair wiring, conduits, fixtures, motors, switches, alarm systems, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Diagnose problems with electrical systems and components.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
• Interpret circuit schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Install security and fire alarm systems.
• Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, transformers and other equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters or oscilloscopes.
