Job summary

Flip retail in Dubai seeks an Electrician - Building Maintenance to manage building electrical systems and commercial wiring across voltages from 12 to 460 V. You will ensure reliable illumination and safe operation of electrical installations in a busy retail setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of similar experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with Gulf national products and standards. Salary ranges between AED 1,300 and 1,500 per month and is paid monthly.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in building electrical maintenance.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• Familiar with Gulf region electrical materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building electrical systems and commercial wiring across voltages (12–24, 110, 220/240, 380/460 V).
• Connect and service illumination switches and 3-way/4-way wiring configurations.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot electrical faults in building wiring, pumps, control boards, and appliances.
• Perform cable terminations and circuit tests; identify appropriate protective devices (MCB/ELCB/RCB).
• Work with XLPE, SWA, PVC cables and associated hardware safely.

Job DescriptionMain Tasks and Responsibilities:1. Well-informed and knowledgeable on Building and also Commercial Wiring approach on voltages 12, 24, 110, 220/240 as well as 380/460 50/60 frequency wave type. Connection of 3way, 4 means with Master for Illumination Switches.2. Competent on using basic electrical screening tool i.e. Planet Tester, Megohmeter, Ammeter, VOM meter, Voltage Tester and Lux meter.3. Can able to check out as well as examine electrical illustrations.4. Can able to do electric fault repairing on bldg. electrical wiring, Pump Control board, electric Stove, Pumps, Drill maker and also water coolers.5. Need to have the ability to do Circulation Board Link, Termination and Checking.6. Have to have the ability to identified and differentiate the application of ACB's, MCCB's, MCB's, ELCB's, RCD's, ISOLATORS, CONTACTORS, LIGHT TIMERS.7.
