Job summary

Ghobash Group is looking for an electrical technician in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have an ITI qualification and 3-5 years of experience in electrical installations, wiring, and maintenance. Qualifications

Job description

Job Purpose

• To perform electrical installations inspections and repair/maintenance as per the project requirement by following standards and codes.
• To assist Electrical Engineer during electrical installation testing & commissioning activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Installation of new or modified electrical equipment.
• Electrical wiring as per the approved schematic drawings by avoiding unsightly hazardous and unreliable wiring.
• Conducting the site survey for the installation cable laying and other electrical activities and prepare and provide the survey report with the sketches.
• Read and understand the method statements, electrical drawings, layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Deft at all electrical equipment materials, tools and test equipments handling.
• Analyse and prepare list of material and tools required at site.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of equipment and tools.
• To prepare the time sheets and work reports.
• To undertake any other duties as appropriate within their job purpose as required by their line Engineer.
