Job summary

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, part of the Ghobash Group, is seeking an Electrical Technician for Abu Dhabi oil and gas projects. You will install, test, inspect and commission electrical systems across onshore/offshore sites, adhering to safety standards.

Required ITI/ Diploma in Electrical, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and ability to read drawings and perform LV/MV tasks. Offshore/desert locations may be involved; strong teamwork and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Technician roles
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of industrial systems
• Knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and earthing

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, cable laying and termination.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment including motors, switchgear and panels.
• Read and interpret drawings, SLDs and cable schedules.
• Perform electrical tests and assist with commissioning of systems.
• Follow PTW, LOTO and safety procedures.
