Job summary

Designer Advertising & Publishing (DNA) in Abu Dhabi seeks an Electrical Technician specialized in exhibitions and events. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems for stands and live productions, ensuring safe execution on site.

Responsibilities include power distribution, lighting, reading electrical drawings, coordinating with project managers, and upholding safety standards during installation and dismantling. UAE experience and teamwork skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in exhibitions, events, or signage industry.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, lighting, and power load management.
• Ability to work under pressure, at height, and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for exhibition stands and event setups.
• Handle power distribution, lighting, and wiring as per project requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.
• Coordinate with project managers and production teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform testing and inspection before handover.
• Attend site visits and support during installation and dismantling phases.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults quickly during live events.
