Role Purpose

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in buildings to ensure safe and efficient operation. They handle tasks such as wiring, fixing electrical faults, testing systems, and following safety regulations and standards specific to the UAE. The role requires working closely with other maintenance teams, responding to emergencies, and keeping accurate records of all electrical work performed. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, problem‑solving skills, and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Key Task and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels.
• Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Replace faulty electrical components such as light fixtures, circuit breakers, and capacitors.
• Perform online troubleshooting for motors and electrical circuits, identifying and replacing faulty parts.
• Coordinate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and HVAC technicians, to ensure proper installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work on electrical systems, including MDB, SMDB, DB, and capacitor banks.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience in the GCC or 5 years in the FM industry or general maintenance.
• ITI certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
