Job summary

Tasa Gulf Industry LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Lead to spearhead maintenance strategy and plant reliability across heavy industrial operations. You will oversee HT/LT power distribution, substations, transformers, motors and protection systems while driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

The role requires strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, effective budgeting, shutdown planning, and collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in electrical engineering and maintenance leadership within industrial or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of HT/LT systems, substations, transformers, motors and protection systems.
• Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, troubleshooting and breakdown analysis.
• Experience managing electrical CAPEX projects, plant shutdowns, commissioning, budgets and contractors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive operational improvements.
• Strong analytical, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical maintenance strategy and plant reliability initiatives.
• Oversee HT/LT power distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, motors, MCCs and VFDs.
• Develop preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Drive root cause analysis, breakdown reduction and reliability improvements.
• Plan and manage electrical shutdowns, CAPEX projects, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor power quality, load management, protection coordination and energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, regulations and applicable standards.
• Manage budgets, spares, OEMs, vendors and service contractors.
• Lead and develop electrical engineers, supervisors and maintenance teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance costs.
