Job summary

PPOAR in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair electrical systems across facilities in the UAE. You will diagnose faults, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of hands-on experience, strong knowledge of wiring, controls and safety protocols, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, controls and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
• Repair or replace faulty components and wiring as needed.
• Install new electrical systems and equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering.
