Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations for projects in the UAE. The role involves monitoring contractor activities, reviewing documentation, and maintaining inspection records. Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection, preferably on supervision or consultancy projects.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEC).
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes.
• Monitor contractor activities and verify adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Review and comment on method statements, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Witness and document testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve site issues and ensure smooth progress.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, daily logs, and photographic documentation.
• Participate in site meetings and provide technical input as needed.
