Overview
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical engineering coordination for plant-related equipment such as 400kV GIS, shunt reactors and associated systems on the ICAD V project.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs and design teams for engineering deliverables related to 400kV GIS, shunt reactors, and other associated equipment.
- Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support site teams in resolving technical issues during installation and testing.
- Liaise with procurement and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and inspection of electrical equipment.
- Assist in preparing method statements, test procedures, and commissioning plans.
- Prepare and submit the weekly progress reports to the project manager, detailing the status of ongoing activities.
Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in power transmission projects, preferably involving high-voltage equipment.
Skills & Knowledge
- Possess strong understanding of substation equipment and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Possess strong problem solving, and communication skills.
