Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team on site. The role focuses on on-site supervision and technical support for electrical engineering aspects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and contract specifications.

You will oversee design and implementation of power distribution, lighting, and related installations, coordinate with national utilities, review shop drawings, conduct site inspections, and uphold safety and quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
10 years of work experience in electrical engineering.
Experience on Infrastructure/Landscaping projects in Dubai.

Responsibilities

Oversee design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and contract specifications.
Coordinate with national utility providers for connections.
Review electrical shop drawings and submittals to meet project specs.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Inspect and test electrical installations at various construction stages.
Identify and resolve electrical-related issues with contractors.
Prepare and maintain records of inspections, tests and non-conformances.
Ensure site safety and enforce safety protocols on electrical works.
Provide technical guidance to construction team on electrical matters.
