Job summary

India Abroad in Sharjah is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The candidate should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, have strong knowledge of electrical systems, and hands-on experience with troubleshooting.

You will design, test, and supervise installation of electrical systems, analyze problems, research new technologies, and develop maintenance schedules while ensuring safety compliance. Excellent reading of drawings and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components such as generators and transformers.
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams accurately for installation purposes.
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design, testing, and supervision of installation of electrical systems and components.
• Analyze problems with existing electrical systems and make improvement recommendations.
• Research new technologies and develop implementation plans for new systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Perform calculations to determine conductor and component sizes for each project.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during installation or repair activities.
• Supervise technicians during installation or repair activities.
