Job summary

CORE Emirates, part of GCV Group, provides specialist data centre commissioning and consultancy across the GCC/ME region. The Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership, manage commissioning activities, and ensure adherence to strategy and client requirements for mission-critical facilities.

Role covers L2–L5 activities, including installation verification, element and system testing, with authority to halt activities due to risk or non-compliance.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years commissioning experience in mission-critical facilities.
• Data Centre delivery background.
• Confident stakeholder leadership and risk management capability.

Responsibilities

• Define L2 acceptance criteria and readiness gates.
• Oversee installation verification across multiple systems or zones.
• Approve element-level commissioning strategies and outcomes.
• Lead system functional testing strategy and execution.
• Lead and control Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
• Full technical authority for commissioning sign-off within assigned scope.
