Job summary

A leading Emirati construction company is seeking a Draftsman Electrical to handle the preparation and updating of technical drawings. The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma in Drafting/CAD Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience in substations, overhead transmission lines, and underground cable works. Familiarity with IEC, DEWA, and ADNOC standards is essential, along with proficiency in AutoCAD. This role requires fluency in English, and knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of drafting experience in substations, OHL transmission lines, and underground cable works.
• Strong technical knowledge of IEC, DEWA, TRANSCO, and ADNOC standards.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings for substation layouts and routine updates.
• Draft detailed drawings for overhead transmission and underground cable works.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and international codes.
• Coordinate with design engineers and site teams for updates.
