Job summary

A leading electromechanical works company in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Draftsman to prepare and revise electrical drawings, develop detailed designs using AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Electrical Engineering with proven experience in MEP projects. Proficiency in Tagalog or Sinhala is required. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman, preferably in MEP/construction/EPC projects.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and standards.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise electrical drawings including lighting layouts.
• Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and project managers.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise electrical drawings including lighting layouts, power layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and shop drawings.
• Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit based on approved design inputs.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to incorporate design changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Maintain drawing registers and manage document control revisions.
• Support site teams with as-built drawings and technical clarifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman (preferably in MEP / construction / EPC projects).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Candidate must speak in Tagalog or Sinhala language.
