Job summary

PPOAR in Sharjah is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical components and systems in a fast-paced environment. The role requires independent work with minimal supervision and a solid grounding in electrical engineering principles.

The candidate will create CAD drawings, analyze complex issues, and contribute to project schedules, reports, and installation support at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in an engineering role is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with precision.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks CAD software.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
• Analyze complex technical issues related to electrical engineering projects.
• Create drawings for electrical components using CAD software.
• Prepare reports outlining the progress of projects.
• Develop project schedules outlining milestones for completion of each phase of the project.
• Assist in the installation of electrical products in customer locations.
• Provide technical advice and support to colleagues as needed.
• Monitor the performance of electrical equipment throughout its life cycle.
• Maintain records for all project-related activities including cost estimates, drawing revisions, etc.
