About Us

Sunreef Yachts, a global leader in luxury catamaran manufacturing, is expanding its engineering team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

We’re looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to design and integrate advanced electrical and automation systems for next-generation luxury yachts.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable marine innovation and cutting-edge electrical architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complete AC/DC power systems for luxury yachts, including generation, distribution, lighting.
  • Understand PLC operation and logic.
  • Design and verify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD, EPLAN, and SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Perform load, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations for 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, and 700V.
  • Select and specify protection, control, and distribution components – breakers, relays, contactors, sensors, and connectors.
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation during production and sea trials.
  • Ensure compliance with marine electrical standards (ISO, IEC, DNV, RINA, CE, ABYC).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical design – marine, automotive, or industrial automation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC systems, power management, and control logic.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, and MS Excellent analytical and teamwork skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
