Job summary

Lipton Teas in Dubai is seeking an experienced Electrical & Automation Technician to support production lines across day and night shifts. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and power distribution to ensure smooth operations.

You bring a Diploma or Bachelor's in electrical engineering or robotics, plus hands-on experience in a production setting, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical engineering, robotics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Experience in a production environment with automation technology.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
• Awareness of general factory safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards at all times.
• Assist in analysis on electrical and automation projects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Maintain equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide technical support for projects, installations, and repairs.
• Coordinate with departments to meet goals.
• Use a digital dashboard for fault reviews.
• Prepare reports on faults, errors and progress.
• Provide training on automated systems.
• Inspect and maintain control systems and workstation installations.
