Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a skilled BYD Technician to join our Electric Mobility Aftersales team in the UAE. You will perform periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs on BYD vehicles while upholding high safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of automotive experience, familiarity with EV systems, and the ability to follow manuals and service procedures. A Diploma or technical certification and UAE driving license are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in automotive technology.
• 2–3 years of experience as automotive/diagnostic technician.
• Experience with periodic maintenance and vehicle repair.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on BYD vehicles.
• Follow EV safety standards and workshop processes.
• Ensure first-time right repairs per Fix It Right standards.
• Support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
• Adhere to health, safety, and 5S standards.
• A chieve productivity, sold hours, and utilization targets.
• Communicate repair status with team and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, professional, organized workspace.
