Could you be the full‑time onsite EHS Lead in Dubai, UAE we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative and innovative teammates. You’ll play a key role in driving the implementation of EHS policies and supporting site management to achieve exceptional EHS results. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, HR, Social and Medical Partners), coordinate EHS actions with operational management and develop and deploy site‑specific EHS management systems.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Supporting Site Management to achieve EHS results and driving the implementation of EHS policy on the field according to Alstom/Region/Country‑Cluster guidelines and targets.
  • Advising, coaching and supporting operational management in the implementation of EHS actions to reach Alstom EHS objectives.
  • Preparing the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom Transport strategy and objectives.
  • Mobilising and coordinating to meet objectives and deploy the EHS plan.
  • Monitoring the deployment of the EHS plan.
  • Ensuring EHS risk assessment is conducted and appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the site.
  • Preparing, implementing and maintaining emergency plans at the site level.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a Bachelor’s level environmental qualification.
  • Experience or understanding of Environment, Health & Safety practices.

  • Health & Safety qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to influence and develop an EHS culture.
  • Ability to prepare and implement EHS plans, risk assessments and emergency plans.
  • Leadership and team management skills to guide EHS teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Analytical mindset to monitor, assess and review EHS performance and compliance.
