Job Title: Production Control Manager – Plastic Industry (Gravure Printing)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Control Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of production floor operations within our plastic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of gravure printing machines, demonstrate strong leadership in managing labor resources, and ensure seamless workflow, quality control, and timely production output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines.
• Supervise and manage production floor staff, including operators, technicians, and helpers.
• Ensure optimal use of gravure printing machines and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Implement and maintain production standards and quality control protocols.
• Track material usage and coordinate with inventory/purchasing for uninterrupted production.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and labor performance data.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement on the floor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field (preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a production control or supervisory role within the plastic or flexible packaging industry.
• Expertise in gravure printing operations is a must.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse labor force.
• Working knowledge of production planning software and MS Office tools.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
