Deliver food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in clearing, cleaning, and setting up tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware for service in an unobtrusive manner. Greet guests according to the St. Regis standards to ensure superior service. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Assist in stocking linens, china, glassware, silverware, and food items for service. Assist in the breakdown, cleaning, and setup of buffets and food stations. Work harmoniously and professionally with coworkers and supervisors. Greet and escort guests to their tables. Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies). Adhere to timing standards for products and services. Inform guests about the day's specials. Offer menu recommendations upon request and make suggestions based on their preferences. Upsell additional products when appropriate. Take accurate food and drinks orders using POS ordering software. Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol. Communicate order details to the kitchen. Serve food and drinks, ensuring hot food is hot and cold food is cold. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any issues.
